Great storytelling. The site is great at reporting these seemingly silly moments, then adding amazing, nearly heartbreaking, parentheses to them. Most intriguing quote: "I don't want anyone to think I have a lot of money."

wow! the messages and experiences exchanged in this story are so profound for me because of how subtle and yet poignant the religious and cultural exposure and commentary are in both the fictional and actual story... AND, I wonder whether Home Depot would be ecstatic or appalled about being known as the place where employment begins in America?...my guess is, being the "start" square on the American Dream board-game is definitely not bad for business!
